A few weeks ago Rachel decided she was ready to get her ears pierced. We were going to Visalia that weekend, so we decided it would be fun to do it with Grandma. So we had a girls date. Rachel, me, Gma Zonda and Gma Monte. We went to the mall on Saturday to have it done. Rachel was so brave. She just held my hand but never cried or got scared. She said it hurt for a couple of hours, but then it was fine. She's so happy with how it turned out. She chose pink sparkly flowers for her first earrings. Then we did a little shopping with her and she picked out a pink sweater and skirt to go with her earrings. We had so much fun with her. What a great girl!
